DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER [DTC / E-COM / LOWER FUNNEL]

Position Summary:

The e-comm / DTC Digital Media Planner has a deep understanding of the current digital media landscape and have a proven track record of success driving direct response results in retail/e-comm against specific KPIs such as ROAS, revenue and customer acquisition. The role requires someone who lives and breathes digital marketing and is results-driven and highly analytical.  Planner will be responsible for the planning, execution, optimization and reporting of campaigns and have experience across the different e-comm platforms with the ability to drive positive ROI and conversion volume. You will be joining a talented team and will be required to work collaboratively with everyone and building relationships with other internal teams.  Looking for someone who can handle multiple projects delivering high quality work on-time and be able to provide clients and internal teams with valuable insights to improve the success of campaigns.

Job Functions:

  • Review running and completed campaigns on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and discuss efforts with senior staff and other internal departments
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments such as account and creative to ensure smooth, consistent and effective campaigns
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail (for own work and QA’ing team work)
  • Inform internal team members about opportunities, challenges and marketplace/technology developments
  • Evaluate media opportunities and provide solid and actionable POVs
  • Investigate and utilize information from syndicated research sources
  • Stay apprised of industry standard and new media programs

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

  • 2+ years digital marketing experience in direct response /e-commerce
  • 2+ years experience in agency-side Media strategy, planning, and buying
  • Experience working in media strategy and planning
  • Recent platform experience in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ad Words / Merchant Center
  • Experience managing a mix of DR channels Shopping, Paid Search, Paid Social, Display
  • Track record of exceeding DR goals
  • Proficient knowledge of ad serving [DCM], conversion tracking [GTM, pixel placement], and ideas around attribution models

Skills

  • Hand-on experience building, managing and optimizing campaigns / audiences within major DR/e-comm platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords/Merchant Center; experience with Snapchat, Pinterest, Amazon, Twitter, Centro Basis, The Trade Desk, LinkedIn a plus)
  • Proven experience in direct response campaigns
  • Excellent grasp of data analytics with the ability to analyze results and maximize ROAS / customer acquisition with an ability to translate data to insights & actions
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify, communicate, solve and follow up on issues that arise on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Cultivate fresh ideas and discover new opportunities based on data analysis, trends in the digital marketing space and new brands/products being launched
