Integrated Media Planner

Position Summary:

The Integrated Media Planner has a deep understanding of the current media landscape and a proven track record of managing multiple campaigns delivering on client key goals and KPIs. The role requires someone who lives and breathes digital marketing and is results-driven and highly analytical.  Planner will be responsible for the planning, execution, optimization and reporting of campaigns and have experience across the different digital. You will be joining a talented team and will be required to work collaboratively with everyone and building relationships with other internal teams.  Looking for someone who can handle multiple projects delivering high quality work on-time and be able to provide clients and internal teams with valuable insights to improve the success of campaigns.

Job Functions

  • Maintain and monitor all aspects of the media plan, including establishing media objectives and strategies, developing recommendations, tracking media expenditures to ensure budget compliance, negotiation/buying, implementation and optimization
  • Identify the optimal channel mix demonstrating creative and innovative uses of digital media to deliver upon clients’ KPIs & objectives
  • Review running and completed campaigns on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and discuss efforts with senior staff and other internal departments
  • Develop audience insights using available tools and resources
  • Devise campaign-strategy documents, market trend insights and competitor analyses as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments such as account and creative to ensure smooth, consistent and effective campaigns
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail (for own work and QA’ing team work)
  • Inform internal team members about opportunities, challenges and marketplace/technology developments
  • Evaluate media opportunities and provide solid and actionable POVs
  • Investigate and utilize information from syndicated research sources
  • Stay apprised of industry standard and new media programs and share with colleagues and clients

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in agency-side Media strategy, planning, and buying
  • Experience working in media strategy and planning
  • 2+ years digital marketing experience in direct response /e-commerce
  • Recent platform experience in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ad Words, DCM, DSPs
  • Traditional media planning/buying a plus (TV, print, OOH)
  • Experience managing a digital campaigns
  • Proficient knowledge of ad serving [DCM], conversion tracking [GTM, pixel placement], and ideas around attribution models

Skills

  • Solid understanding of online media planning, implementation and optimization, across various digital channels and tactics, including paid social, paid search, programmatic, video, PPC, mobile, display, etc.)
  • Excellent grasp of data analytics with the ability to analyze results with an ability to translate data to insights & actions
  • Solutions oriented, with a focus on progressing projects forward, sharing learnings, and contributing to improvements
  • Ability to think ahead and grasp big picture
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify, communicate, solve and follow up on issues that arise on a daily and weekly basis
