Paid Social Media Supervisor

The Paid Social Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the account and clients including planning, buying, tracking, and optimizing of social media campaigns for retail and consumer brand clients. This is an important client facing role which requires building and maintaining client relationship along with being able to provide strategic insights as a social expert. The candidate needs to think ahead on how to grow the business and bring innovation to our campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns the day-to-day media management of account and logistics through the entire planning cycle for client accounts
  • Develop and foster senior client relationships and manage day to day communication with client teams
  • Responsible for providing strategic support and understanding of the strengths, limitations & uses of the different social media platforms
  • Works in a team setting to develop efficient and effective paid social plans based on a range of client goals and KPIs (full funnel including lower funnel conversion goals) across Facebook, Snapchat, and other social platforms
  • Analyze campaign performance & provide optimization recommendations to clients on an constant basis
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to provide thought leadership, solutions and implement process that will help provide efficiencies
  • Train, mentor and lead junior team members
  • Must clearly communicate clients’ needs & timeliness to the internal team. Accountable for completion of clients’ requests.
  • Work flexibly to meet project deadlines and manage team resources, internally and externally, to ensure client deadlines are met
  • Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the manager.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3.5 years of paid social media experience at a media agency
  • Facebook certification
  • Expertise with social platforms (Mainly FB/IG & Snapchat. Tik Tok and Pinterest are a plus), vendors and processes
  • Client service – Must know how to present (Media plans & reporting recommendations) and lead media/marketing clients
  • A track record of successfully managing campaign reporting
  • Knowledge of Tableau, DOMO, Google Data Studio, or other data visualizations and dashboarding tools a plus

SKILLS:

  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player, positive attitude, leave your ego at the door
  • Strong communication skills: oral and written presentation skills – This is a client facing role
  • Must be proficient on Excel to pivot tables and manage large amounts of data. Also, with Keynote and/or PowerPoint to build media recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to identify trends and optimization opportunities from complex raw data sets
  • Able to take the complex and translate into readily digestible pieces of information for the non-expert digital marketer, with a goal of securing ‘buy in’ on action/next steps
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize and deliver against changing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously, while always keeping managers and stakeholders informed
  • Must understand the media landscape to bring innovation to our media recommendations
  • Client service/management skills
