Vans Classics are a streetwear fashion icon. To support the Vans brand and deliver a strong summer and back-to-school season amidst some challenging trend headwinds SCS is supporting an ongoing media campaign for the brand entitled Classics Since Forever which is designed to drive high awareness and interest in Vans Classics including Old Skool and Sk8-Hi styles. The campaign is integrating digital media alongside influencer and awareness media channels which has been driving strong positive movement for Classics, as mentioned on VF Corp’s recent earnings call, “We have a renewed focus on our icon management strategy, our proof point this quarter was the 25% growth that we saw in our Sk8-Hi."
ADAGE: AN OPEN LETTER TO THE CREATIVE CLASS OF 2022
With an uncertain economic future and a job market that grows more competitive every day, it’s an intense time to be a college graduate – let alone one trying to make it in the creative world. But there are also lots of opportunities. With the industry evolving at such a rapid pace, SCS Chief Creative Officer, John Zegowitz, penned some open-hearted and savvy advice for young creatives looking to lead change and take over.
This Month, the American Advertising Federation announced that SCS's John Deere Minecraft mod, FarmCraft, took home Silver in the Online Interactive/Games category in the national competition. FarmCraft emerged out of John Deere's need to attract youth to careers in agriculture, with a solution from SCS that worked to introduce John Deere to where kids play, in the metaverse. By partnering with BlockWorks, we were able to create a downloadable mod that allowed young gamers to interact with John Deere farming equipment through their favorite game: Minecraft. Over seven million downloads later, a strong user base is still virtually farming with John Deere today.
