Position Summary:
The senior Project & Account Manager role is the liaison between the SCS’ internal departments, account lead, and clients. This person is responsible for managing multiple projects & processes within SCS and for SCS clients, as well as for reaching successful outcomes by meeting key project/campaign milestones. This role needs to ensure that internal resources are supported, communication remains consistent/clear and process is followed; that SCS remains at the forefront of knowledge and expertise in all integrated marketing channels in-order to deliver services unmatched elsewhere. The senior project & account manager will partner with the Sr. Resource/Project Manager and Account lead to quickly grasp internal & client goals to build/deliver profitable/effective projects & campaigns.
Job Functions:

- An accountable effective communicator (via: email, phone, text, face-to-face) responsible of quick response times for both clients and internal teams to ensure all projects/campaigns are properly supported & managed
- Ability to work independently, yet support is available from agency colleagues, and key department leads
- Long hours can happen, and marketing/advertising staff are expected to work flexibly to meet project deadlines
- Partner with COO and Resource Manager to garner support for all projects/campaign deliverables across all departments in two different offices
- Work directly with the Resource Manager to assign all projects to the creative team and ensure any project specific challenges are managed at a resource and timing level
- Develop the timeline and budget for the Brand Manager and manage projects from initiation to closure to ensure that SCS is delivering on time and within budget
- Responsible to ensure that approval dates & process are clear & understood on the project for internal team
- Responsible in the inventory and archival of SCS assets, including final project files.
- Manage expenses of assigned projects, including tracking purchase orders and expenses for SCS content & creative departments
- Ensure project financial management in Aqua is set up properly for all project schedules to support accurate financial reporting
- Ensure all resources on projects are included in Aqua reporting, and understand individual accountability to project scope
- Provide regular updates to project team on overall project scope to maintain project profitability
- Ensure Aqua ETCs are updated on a regular basis to ensure most up-to-date effort forecasting
- Work within SCS’s key software platforms including ADP, and AQUA which is used for: Project scheduling, assigning resources to projects individual & resource team hours tracking, opening new/closing jobs, and estimating jobs
- Partner with finance to ensure all project estimates are in, and deliver clear and concise payment schedules based on client payment/project terms
- Support multiple clients, which includes and not limited to: administrative requirements, daily management, and guiding/leading the partnership both internally & externally
- Attend, and participate client status meetings, and project/campaign discussions, creative reviews & approvals
- Responsible for co-managing the client/project budgets & timelines following SCS & Client processes
- Partner with Account lead, and work closely with the client to understand key business challenges, and projects in-order to brief internal resources to identify recommended solutions
- Co-manage client expectations based on realistic timelines, and project/campaign deliverables
- Provides support to the Account lead to develop budgets and timelines to be included in scope of work (SOW) documents, proposals, project & campaign briefs
- Partner with Account lead and key departments to pull client campaign results and reports
- Partner with Account lead to brief agency colleagues, and partner with them to plan and implement the marketing/advertising solution for the client
- Have an awareness of the client’s products, services, competitors and target markets
- Pending available bandwidth, participate in new business pitches Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- College degree required in a related field
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ client services experience
- Experience working on digital accounts
